This restaurant is fabulous! I should have taken pictures of our meals but I ate it to fast. Very nicely decorated and really gives you the Italian feel. Wait staff was great and chef came out to check on everyone. Will definitely go back and also want to try the one in Port Orange.

The food was absolutely amazing we got a large pie half cheese half black olive jalapeño ground beef and red pepper it reminded me of back home good old New York Pizza closest I've had down here. I will definitely be eating here again. The Service was Great ! My husband and I were pleased as the owner shook his hand and introduced himself I love good hospitality. The ambiance was beautiful very cozy and clean. Can't wait to try something else.

Where to start...the impeccable service or the amazing food? We decided to try Don Giovanni for a small gathering to celebrate a 50th birthday, and we were not disappointed. We started with Calamari and Arancini...both delicious. The group tried a few options to share, with a variety of pizza and pasta. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked with an amazing vodka sauce. We had one meat pizza, one gluten free "supreme" type and last (and my fav) the Bianca. We've eaten a lot of white pizza across the US and in Italy, and this one was right at the top! Perfect crust, fresh toppings and oh so good! We shared an order of cannoli, and a vanilla cherry ice cream dessert that should not be skipped! Will definitely be back the next time we are in Ormond! Sorry we didn't get better pics of the food, we were too busy eating!

We sat down and the place was super cute. Lots of ambiance and the owner was on the floor helping the customers. Wine selection was big and I had a Prosecco. Apps we had the homemade fried mozzarella and the garlic bread both hot and super fresh. For entrees we had lasagna, chicken picatta, chicken bruschetta and chicken rollatini. The rollatini was the winner Gorgonzola cream sauce and chicken stuffed with ham, spinach, mozzarella and fried. Legit so good !! All came with salad and pasta such a good deal. And love the homemade aspect. We will be back and next time to have dessert too. Thank you for a great night with our new college student

Came in on Monday night. The place was totally full. In the last 6 years, there have been 4 other restaurants here, and finally, these guys got it right. There are no tables available. Good for them. On this day, we just ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza. They do make a good pizza. Thanks, Giovanni. We will see you again.

When we walked in, place is small with inside and outside seating. Decorations around the seating area were nice. Our waitress name was Nina and she did a good job. Started off with complimentary bread with oil and seasoning. We also got the homemade mozzarella sticks. Both were very good. I decided to get the mahi and shrimp special. Tasty but 2 complaints. Too much sauce. And if you have shrimp in a very saucy dish....TAKE ALL THE SHELLS AND TAILS OFF. Nothing more annoying than digging into a saucy dish and remove tails. Candyce had the chicken parmesan and she enjoyed it. My side was creamy mushroom and it was loaded with mushrooms. Very very good We'll be back but I won't try the special but will try something. Lots of highlights and a couple of "needs work"

Ok, Do you want the taste of real authentic Italian food instead of what we perceive as authentic??? Then you must go to "Don Giovanni's" Just 1 mile past the Walmarts on Ste Route 40. What a diamond we walked into. Giovanni is the owner and IS from Italy with that gorgeous accent of his. This restaurant has only been open 4 months now. He has another one in Port Orange but, I don't remember how long they said that one's been open. When you first walked into the restaurant it was a small place and I wasn't looking for this type of Ambiance (kinda like walking into a small breakfast place) But, I thought I really liked the seating outside so we'll eat out there. WELL, we never got to go outside. They had "a friend" Charlie? who was helping out because they were so busy. He sat us down and then sat down himself. (I love that) He started telling us about Giovanni, The story of the business and so on. Charlie was cool. Then Giovanni himself came over and he is quite humble. We were so well received, and we knew we finally found a great Italian restaurant at last. NOW, I'm telling you, my darling Mother was from Italy and her cooking was so wonderful but different from the "American Italian" restaurants here. When she past, I could never find a place equal to hers unless I made it myself. (Boy, do I hate cooking) Hence eating out A LOT AND so is Giovanni's different. YES, it's very authentic!!! Now, most of you who only know the Italian American food will first go to his place for pizza. I am not a pizza person so I cannot give my review with this but, I've seen so many personal pizzas go out to the people on a plate that makes you feel like you are SPECIAL. Not like you're in a pizza parlor. The prices are equivalent to all the restaurants around. $$ (No, not the outrageous price places, I cannot afford or be stuck up enough to go to them) This is now our "go to place" and tomorrow is Sunday so you know what I'll be having. Oh, This adorable Charles, he sat with everyone, made everyone comfortable and made sure no one had to wait a long time. And Giovanni made sure everyone was comfortable, also helped bring out food and CLEANED tables. How many owners do that? One thing though. The music is the typically "American Italian" music which was good (a lot of Sinatra who I'm personally not fond of) But, Giovanni does NOT personally take care of this. (The music he likes is from his country) I suggested some other Italian singers and hopefully you will too because every good restaurant needs that swinging music. Hope you will try it soon
